Delivery Policy
Alcohol Deliveries 🥂
Alcohol deliveries require a sober person 21 years of age or older with a valid government issued I.D. to be present upon delivery.
Hammer Down Expediting MUST be informed during scheduling of your Asheville delivery service if alcohol is to be transported. Failure to abide by this may result in service cancellation without a refund.
Wine returns, by law, may not be accepted by vendors in some circumstances; please discuss this with vendors before making any wine purchases.
Cold/Flu Medicine & Prescriptions 💊
Narcotic and/or cold/flu medicine deliveries require a person 18 years of age or older with a valid government issued I.D. to be present upon delivery. Non-narcotic deliveries may be left unattended.
Hammer Down Expediting MUST be informed during scheduling of your Asheville delivery service if a narcotic and/or cold/flu medicine is to be transported. Failure to abide by this may result in service cancellation without a refund.
Cancellations & Refunds 🆘
Cancelled credit/debit card orders will incur a 10% service fee.
All transactions are final once pickup has been made.
Cargo Insurance 📦
Hammer Down Expediting offers lower base purchase pricing by not accepting liability of cargo under our care. For all of your precious cargo valued at more than $50, insurance may be purchased at scheduling in addition to our base services for that extra peace of mind 😌
Cargo insurance is purchased based upon the actual or lesser value of the freight to be transported.
Cargo insurance ONLY covers physical damage of freight due to an accident during transit or obvious driver mishandling and DOES NOT cover inoperable items, expired and/or temperature damaged items nor any other damage and/or discrepancy not occurring during normal transit.
E-commerce & Store Returns 🧾
Clients of Hammer Down Expediting should be familiar with the return policies of any location from which a delivery service has been scheduled.
Clients assume responsibility for all associated costs of freight storage, labor, transportation and other reasonable fees arising from incomplete deliveries where items can't be returned to pickup location.
Items which can't be returned to their original pickup locations need to be retrieved within 30 calendar days of our receipt, at the client's expense.
Incomplete Deliveries 🦺
Delivery completion can't be guaranteed if pets and/or wild animals are near the delivery area OR when it is required to travel over rough terrain.
Couriers will wait at each delivery location for 15 minutes before proceeding with other deliveries.
Clients assume all responsibility for knowing business hours, information and locations, delivery and pickup location access codes, directions and landmarks, return policies and any and all information vital to successful service completion.
Deliveries requiring a second attempt will be billed for the second delivery.
Clients assume responsibility for all associated costs of freight storage, labor, transportation and other reasonable fees arising from incomplete deliveries.
Hammer Down Expediting is not responsible for any losses or other circumstances incurred upon the Client or their freight arising from incomplete deliveries.

Pickup-in-Store/Curbside Pickups 🛍️
Hammer Down Expediting is a 3rd party service not responsible for incomplete and/or inaccurate deliveries; concerns of this nature must be addressed with the party and/or parties with whom they were purchased.
Hammer Down Expediting will gladly inform clients on which stores and locations we are currently familiar with that allow us to do pickups, but it is ultimately client responsibility to ensure their chosen vendors allow third-party pickups and their policies regarding this service.
Some vendors require a specifically named person be listed, some allow for a company name to be listed while others have confirmation methods in place such as emails and codes. (Please ensure Hammer Down Expediting has all confirmation emails, codes, receipts and/or other materials needed for each service at the time of scheduling either by text at 828-270-7601 or email at office@hdxpd.com)
